Ever thought about running a marathon?
I just celebrated one of those birthdays – the kind ending in a “0”. And, I had been tossing around in the back of my (just don’t look or feel my age) mind the thought of running a marathon. I need to preface this by saying, I am an athlete – I train 5-7 days a week – hard. But, I don’t run. So, because I had never marathoned (on pavement), it made my list of potential “stretch” goals.
Then, my investigation into just what it would take began.
I love it when personal curiosity meets work assignment. And, I was on assignment for CMH Magazine (www.cmhmag.com) to write an article about …. yep, running a marathon. A link to the article is included below. It has 60 of the “best of the best” tips I could find and ran in CMH Magazine’s July/August issue. If you don’t get the magazine, I thought you might enjoy the article.
So, if you are thinking about running or you are already a runner, some veterans of the sport gave hands-on, practical and helpful advice. Check it out: http://mag.cmhmag.com/health/marathon-prep/ and feel free to add your own tips.
TTFN. So, Ciao Bella and make you always be blessed to walk in great lighting.
